Hidden away on the lovely wooded hillside of the Derwent Valley between Bakewell and Matlock, within 3 miles of Chatsworth House & Haddon Hall.
Great for walkers, situated down a quiet lane, with fantastic walks from the front door through woodland, fields or moorland.

Incredible walks and fantastic views, right from the cottage door, that you will remember forever. It's just an idyllic little place.
Sit on the balcony above the pond and share your breakfast with the myriad of wild birds. Wander off along the numerous woodland walks or onto open moorland before calling at the Devonshire Arms in Beeley for a scrumptious lunch. Save a few afternoons for exploring the numerous local attractions.
There are many interesting and exciting places to visit within a few minutes drive. Peak Village and Peak Rail's steam trains are down in the valley. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall (both a ten minutes drive away) are not to be missed. Bakewell with its famous 'puddings' and Monday market is another must. Get back in time for a glass of wine on the patio as you gaze in wonder at the magnificent sunset over the Peak District hills.
Linen and towels are provided. Heating and power are included. There are sunny patios to front and rear, both with furniture. Parking for one car is provided.
